The Antoinettes recreational athletes took first place at a recent gymnastics meet in Concord. Recreational athletes belonging to the huge Oakvilleâ€"based Antoinettes Gymnastic Club took the firstâ€"place team award at the Chris Hibbert Cup which wrapped up recently in Concord. Besides meeting Chris Hibbert, who is one of Canada‘s foremost male gymnasts, the object of the twoâ€"part meet (the first one was held in February) was to provide fun competition for recreational gymnasts that stressed the team aspect.
