Cameron will be fresh from adjudiâ€" cating the Theatre Ontario Festival in Cambridge and although adjudicating involves a huge committment of time and travel, Cameron loves this career offshoot. His profile as an adjudicator has increased beyond the borders of Ontario and in June of next year, he will be addressing audiences in Texas at the national finals of the American Association of Community Theatre which features the 10 best plays from across the U.S. total when he adjudicates the annual Oakville Theatrefest May 28th at the Oakville Centre. "It‘s a daunting schedule until you actually do it," says Cameron. Due to Church building renovations, from May 22 â€" Aug. 28 inclusive, one service on Sunday will be held at 10:30 a.m. at T.A. All of his critiques, he hopes, are educational and constructive in nature and offer food for thought for future productions. Through his words, Cameron hopes to establish an awareâ€" ness of the complexities of all comâ€" ponenets that go into a production. The constant exposure to commuâ€" nity theatre also forces him to train his eye, he says. Cameron, who has been at Sheridan for 19 years, will take a much needed sabbatical from his post next fall. He has several projects lined up to occupy his time including auditâ€" ing rehearsals for the Shaw Festival production of Too True to be Good for Paul Lampert, a former Sheridan stuâ€" dent now the assistant to Shaw artistic director Christopher Newton. Cameron is looking forward to being able to sit in on rehearsals withâ€" out any responsibilities.
