To mark this occasion, Longo's Oakville, 338 Dundas St. E., at Trafalgar Road, is hosting a day-long birthday party. The public invited to join this celebration and enjoy complimentary coffee and breakfast pastries from 8 ­ 11 a.m. A fundraising barbecue for Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital will be held from 11 a.m. ­ 5 p.m. Sausages with pop or water and a slice of watermelon will be sold for $2. The site offers virtual discussion forums where Milton moms can meet other moms, share advice and stories and interact with one another in a supportive environment. The motto of www.haltonmoms.com is Meet, Share, Care, and it's a philosophy that embodies everything Vitellaro hopes the on-line community will achieve. "Even if you can't meet, you can talk and share the ups and downs," she said. "I've already seen a woman asking for advice on potty training. I'd like to see that happen in every section." Vitellaro was first inspired to create a virtual meeting place for moms when she was pregnant. "I was on a pregnancy site, and I met a bunch of women, mostly from the United States, and we communicated through the message board," she said. "We never met, but we've grown and have a bond." Vitellaro decided to create her own forum when she moved to Milton.
