The fair takes place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the International Centre, Aviation Ballroom (Beside Hall 5), at 6900 Airport Rd., Mississauga. Admission is free. City Parent newsmagazine presents its annual Summer Camp Fair presented by the Toronto Star and sponsored by Hudson College. In addition, The Ontario Camping Association (OCA) will commemorate 75 years of making the grade by offering special activities for the kids. The Summer Camp Fair showcases over 50 exhibitors offering many options in residential and day camps for kids. Explore the many opportunities available from traditional camps to those that cater to special interests. Careers Unlimited at WOSS Careers Unlimited -- what promises to be Halton's largest career fair -- will be hosted at White Oaks Secondary School (WOSS) on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Sponsored by the Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC), Careers Unlimited will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. at WOSS' South Campus at 1330 Montclair Dr. The annual event is Halton's largest career fair with over 200 exhibitors. Careers Unlimited is open to all youths, parents and other members of the community so it's doors are open to everyone. The event is an opportunity to interact with a variety of employers, associations, institutions and other organizations. Volunteer orientation for Eco Fest There's a Feb. 13 orientation meeting for anyone wishing to volunteer at the seventh annual Halton Eco Festival to take place Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1. The annual event is organized by the Oakville Community Centre For Peace, Ecology And Human Rights (OCCPEHR), which operates at 148 Kerr St. The Eco Fest event is held at the Glen Abbey Recreation Centre on Third Line just south of Upper Middle Road. The orientation meeting for volunteers is on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kerr Street centre. Valentine's High Tea Tea lovers can celebrate Valentine's Day with a High Tea and the opportunity to help Stephen Lewis in his fight against AIDS in Africa on Sunday, Feb. 11. Munn's United Church, located at the corner of Sixth Line and Dundas Street, will host its fourth annual Valentine's High Tea from 2 ­ 4 p.m. The menu will include scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam, and an assortment of cucumber, asparagus and salmon sandwiches. Tickets cost $5 per person and can be obtained by calling the church office at 905-257-8434. Proceeds will go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation in its fight against the AIDS pandemic and its work to support those living with, or affected by AIDS in Africa. It supports community-based organizations in 12 African countries.
