Rangers sweep Eagles in Tri-County final A three-game sweep of the Burlington Eagles lifted the Oakville minor peewee A Rangers to their second Tri-County league championship in as many seasons. Oakville downed Burlington by scores of 10-2, 5-2 and 3-2. Brad Johnson scored the series winner, an unassisted marker in the third period, while Patrick Enman and Munham Ahmad had the other Rangers goals in the clinching game. The Tri-County championship caps off a strong year for the squad, which won the Richard Bell title and was a quarter-finalist in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdowns.
