As Ellis recollected his son's last moments, he laid the fault on himself, for he didn't communicate with his son about work safety. The principal of Loyola, Nijole Vaitonis, is confident that students walked away with knowledge worth a lot more than money. "For many of our students, they are going to their first summer jobs or returning to summer jobs. They are going to have a different outlook and perspective, in my opinion, with a smarter mind frame for health and safety."
