The new ATMP will also help to identify priorities for network implementation projects, determine appropriate levels of funding for operations and maintenance, review the current standards, by-laws, and programs for cycling and walking, and introduce a program for public outreach (promotion & education). This Master Plan study is being conducted in accordance with the requirements of Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, which is an approved process under the Environmental Assessment Act. We Want To Hear From You Effective public consultation is a key component to the development of a meaningful Active Transportation Master Plan.
