"The guys who are here, I'm happy with it," Paul, the tournament director, said Monday. "I think it's a good, solid field. They're all talented. One good thing about the PGA Tour (is) the depth on it is much more than it was 10-15 years ago." Only six of the top 25 players in the PGA Tour regular-season FedExCup standings are slated to tee it up tomorrow (Thursday) at Glen Abbey Golf Club. The top-ranked of those is Anthony Kim, who has won a pair of Tour events this season and enters the Canadian Open fifth in the FedExCup standings. Other notables include Ryuji Imada (7th), two-time defending Canadian Open champ Jim Furyk (13th), Jeff Quinney (21st), Sean O'Hair (24th) and Canadian hopeful Stephen Ames Mike Weir, Stephen Ames, Jon Mills and others try to become first Canadian golfer to win national open since 1954.
