24 - The Oakville Beaver, Friday August 29, 2008 www.oakvillebeaver.com 100th donation IT'S IN HIM TO GIVE: Connor Boyd made his 100th blood donation to Canadian Blood Services at Oakville Place last Friday. Here, from centre, clockwise, Boyd signs up, patiently waits his turn, shows off the pins he has for his efforts, is prepped, then makes his donation. Clinics have been held regularly during the summer as this season generates an increased need for blood. To that end, a special Labour Day clinic will be held Monday, Sept. 1, from noon-4 p.m., in the gymnasium at Clearview Christian Reformed Church, located at 2300 Sheridan Garden Dr. Call 1-8882-DONATE to make an appointment.
