United Way of Oakville's Roadmap to Success Training and Consulting Program offers affordable training to staff and volunteers of the non-profit sector. The program is open to all nonprofit agencies. Workshops cover topics such as human resources development, leadership skills, marketing and media relations. "At United Way, we are committed to building community capacity, both through funding local agencies and providing ongoing training to help agencies invest resources to their fullest potential," said Angèle Wilson, manager of Training and Consulting at United Way of Oakville. "Workshops are facilitated by volunteer professionals who are experts in their fields," said Wilson. Registration is now open for the following fall workshops: · What do I tell the donors? How to make your case for support -- workshop takes place on Thursday, Oct. 23.
