Beloved husband of Bonnie, father of John (Kathy), Jane Provins (Mike), Peter (Belinda), Michael (Lori), Paula and Nancy. Grandfather of 17 and greatgrandfather of 2. Brother of Bill of Fergus and predeceased by Jack of Brantford. Glen was a Sales Manager for B.D. Walt Company in Oakville. Following his retirement he enjoyed volunteering with Community Living Burlington. He enjoyed sailing, tennis and golf, and in later years gardening, woodworking and stained glass art. Glen will be remembered with a reception at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 L a k e s h o r e R o a d We s t , O a k v i l l e , (905-842-2252) on Sunday, March 22 from 2-5 pm. KOZAK, Anne- O n M o n d a y, M a r c h 16, 2009, in the afternoon, at the Trillium Health Centre. Mississauga. Anne leaves her devoted husband, Michael (Mike) of over 60 years of marriage, her children, Judy, Todd, Michael and Marianne and her grandchildren. Anne and her husband were inseparable and he will miss her greatly. But her love of gardening will be a constant reminder to him and to her family that she is but a memory away. Last fall she planted hundreds of new bulbs and the resulting brilliant and happy palette will be there for all to enjoy. Our Mother and our Father's constant companion was a kaleidoscope of interests and feelings and opinions. She always spoke her mind and was a fervent Canadian - even to the point of urging local grocery stores to carry more Canadian products (her recounting of these episodes was always a reason to smile). She saw both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the country and a few places in between. Her nononsense approach hid a love of the more refined things in life - art, opera, and great literature. Her family will miss her being in our midst - but we will take comfort in knowing that her spirit has taken up residence in her gardens and is even now on guard against the rampaging rabbits. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 19 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Anne believed in helping others and acted on this belief. In her honour, a donation can be made to the Salvation Army or a local women's shelter in lieu of flowers.
