The purpose of this meeting is to consider the enactment of a successor EDC by-law that will apply in Halton Region. Any person who attends the meeting may make representations to the Board in respect of this matter. Written submissions, filed in advance of the meeting, will also be considered. All interested parties are invited to attend the public meetings. The Board would appreciate receiving written submissions one week prior to the Public Meeting, so that they may be distributed to Trustees prior to the meetings. It's a good thing you did." Beiman said writing the book "was difficult because it had not been done before." She had to rework parts and shuffle chapters. "This book was a lot of blood, sweat and tears," she said. Beiman is using her leftover notes in a book she is currently working on called Animated Performance: Bringing Imaginary Characters to Life. Beiman has worked for Warner Brothers and as the supervising animator for "You don't need to film anything to animate a scene. You can use your imagination." Nancy Beiman, animation professor, author and former Disney animator Walt Disney, a position only two other women ever held. She has worked on characters such as Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and Donald Duck. She thinks students rely too much on computers and live action as a reference for their animation. "You don't need to film anything to animate a scene. You can use your imagina- tion." The School of Animation, Arts and Design also recognized Rafael Goldchain, Mike Walsh, John Armstrong, Moira Clark, Robert Fones, Sybil Goldstein, Gillian Iles, David Joron, Angela Leach, Dorian Fitzgerald, Michael Hughes, Alan Poaps and Shawn Daudin for their published work.
