Golfers can receive trip interruption benefits up to $400 for non-refundable booked green fees; baggage delay benefits can be claimed up to $400 for rental of golf clubs and other accessories. · Skiers can slalom easy with trip interruption benefits up to$400 for non-refundable tickets for ski lift closures due to avalanches or severe weather conditions. · Baggage delay benefits go up to $400 for ski equipment rentals and the purchase of "reasonable' ski accessories. · Enhanced emergency medical coverage - travellers flying solo who become hospitalized and need a bed side companion to be flown in on the first day of hospitalization. · Insured clients who must fly to the bedside of a hospitalized love one or attend a funeral can choose to return to their original departure point or fly directly to the bedside or funeral. · For "non medical" and "travel within Canada" packages, age limitations have been removed ­ rates for clients 84 years old and over are now available.
