On Tuesday police arrested Jayme Christopher Hill, who is now facing charges of attempted murder, theft over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, posses- sion of stolen property, flight from a peace officer, fail to comply with bail recognizance and failure to comply with a probation order. Police are crediting tips from the public with helping them make the arrest. Police would not comment on whether Hill or anyone else was injured by the shooting incident, however, the Special Investigations Unit has become involved in the investigation. The Special Investigations Unit is a civilian agency that investigates incidents of serious injury (including sexual assault) or death involving the police.
