"Retaliation and revenge is not what Jesse believed in or would have wanted," said Comeau, choking back tears. "In the memory and spirit of Jesse we ask that you honour his values and not retaliate as too many people have suffered from this tragic loss." Comeau said he would remember his nephew as someone who was highly regarded, respected and looked up to by his friends, family and peers. SERVING OAKVILLE FOR 25 YEARS! 175 Wyecroft Rd. Woman recalls birthday stabbing horror By Paul Morse METROLAND WEST MEDIA GROUP See Funeral page 3 Cindy Petrie was looking forward to her daughter's 17th birthday bash when a few dozen friends would be over to dance down in the rec room and have a good time. But the fun night ended with 16-yearold Jesse Comeau of Oakville dying against a wall in her basement from multiple stab wounds in his chest and back and another boy in her kitchen bleeding from a stab wound in his back. Jesse "died in my arms," Petrie said yesterday. About three dozen teens had showed up at Petrie's Prospect Street townhouse to celebrate Megan Petrie's birthday Saturday evening. "Everything was normal, they were dancing, throwing their hands in the air, having fun," she said.
