Burlington scored twice in the third inning on a pair of sacrifice flies and it remained that way until the Brants added two more in the top of the eighth. The loss, the A's first in four meetings with the Brants this season, dropped Oakville to 13-7 on the season. They sit three games back of the Andrews Division leading Erindale Cardinals. Conrad Bach had the A's lone RBI on the night, bringing home Oakville's ninth-inning run on a fielder's choice. Gord Robertson was tagged with the loss for the A's. He gave up 10 hits and four runs over eight innings while striking out six. Alex Hawley pitched a scoreless ninth. Burlington pitchers, led by starter Dan Nauth, held Oakville to just four hits.
