Charge laid in Monday crash An Oakville teenager is facing a charge of impaired driving following a single-car crash on Elton Park Road, Monday. Police said a red 2000 Jaguar S-Type was travelling southbound along Elton Park Road toward Lakeshore Road East, when the driver failed to negotiate a bend in the road. The right wheels of the car left the roadway and struck an ornamental rock in a private garden. The vehicle then travelled to the opposite side of the road before leaving the roadway entirely and entering a second private garden. The car then struck two trees and flipped over. The driver and two passengers were able to climb out of the luxury vehicle. They suffered only minor injuries. The crash closed portions of Elton Park Road and Lakeshore Road East for five hours during the subsequent investigation and debris cleanup. Konstantin Bogatyreva, 19, has been charged with impaired driving.
