The Budget Committee is focused on maintaining current programs and services and catching up on overdue facilities to meet the needs of residents. Bronte Creek Communities Limited and the Town of Oakville December 7, 2009 -- 7 p.m. Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road -- Council Chamber File: Z.1432.04(F) Planning and Development Council will consider a report to remove the Holding Symbol "H" for the above noted application at this meeting. The proposed application is to remove "H" Holding Provision from Zoning By-law 2002-237 as it relates to Block C on schedule C of By-law 2002-237. The "H" Holding Provision was placed on these lands to ensure that adequate municipal water and wastewater capacity was available to accommodate the development and to ensure that the developer entered into a subdivision agreement with the town. The removal of the "H" Holding provision is a mechanism to ensure that the above conditions are fulfilled prior to the development of the lands in accordance with the approved Zoning, and as such there is no right of appeal on a removal of a Holding Provision. In addition to the applicant's request, the town will be undertaking a housekeeping amendment to remove the Holding Provision off the town-owned land. No development is proposed on the town lands. The subject lands are generally east of the Bronte Provincial Park, west of Colonel William in the vicinity of the town's woodlot.
