Atom white team wins tourney in Quinte The Oakville atom white Hound Dogs hockey team dominated action at the Quinte West Silver Puck Tournament and skated away as champions. The Oakville boys faced off against three Quinte West teams on the first day of the two-day tournament and won all three games, securing the top spot in their division. On the second day of tournament action, the Hound Dogs defeated the second-place team from the other division in the semi finals. The championship game saw the Hound Dogs suit up against the Storrington Stingers, who earned top spot in the other division. The first period ended in a 1-1 draw, but the Hound Dogs picked up their intensity in the second though and added two more markers to give themselves a bit of a cushion going into the third. The yellow-shirted Hound Dogs exploded for four goals in the third and skated away with a 7-1 victory. Members of the team are Liam Robertson, James Condon, James Guthrie, David Rubble, Andrew Irwin, Robert Scott, Charlie Violin, Kieran Hussey, Anthony Pisani, Ryan MacKinnon, Dylan Howse, Mohit Kapur, Zachary Pujo, Strahinia Sukukiban, Keegan Leslie and Jordan Mazzon.
