Blaze burns up Goulding Park Brandon Watada and Christian Altiparmakyan each scored goals to help the Oakville minor peewee red Blaze to a 2-1 win over the Goulding Park Rangers in the final of the Goulding Park Christmas Select Tournament. Matthew Seago earned the victory in net, his best save being a glove stop on Rangers forward Patrick Di Fonzo in the middle frame. Oakville's Tyler Kennedy was named MVP in the final game. Earlier in the tournament, the Blaze downed Etobicoke 4-0 and Goulding Park 4-1 while tying Orangeville 3-3. Spencer Faion, James Abnett, Himmat Dhillon, Cameron Bushen, Eric Tolic, Watada and Altiparmakyan scored at least one goal each in those games. Other members of the team are Ryan Soroka, William Gale, Liam Moore, Michael McCormack, Mitchell Hardy and Spencer Lapko.
