Many honoured members of the Hall of Fame will be at the dinner to celebrate the induction of athletes Tom Fergus (hockey) and Andrew Hurd (swimming) as well as builders Dick Grimm (golf), John Gilbert (badminton), Bob MacKinnon (hockey) and Mark O'Donnell (speed skating). Olympic gold medal-winning canoeist Larry Cain will emcee the evening. Former Toronto Argonauts star Dan Ferrone, curler John Base, soccer stars Michele Houchen and Phil Iafrati, LPGA member Sandra Post, ex-NHLer Rob Zamuner, tennis Olympian Chris Pridham, Olympic figure skating gold medalist Maria Jelinek, Taekwon-Do world champion Mike Morningstar and former national basketball team head coach Wayne Hussey will also be in attendance. The induction evening is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Oakville Conference and Banquet Centre. The reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for the dinner, costing $110 per person or $800 for a table of eight.
