Manjak, a former national level gymnast, has been coaching competitive gymnastics for the last 17 years. She and husband Kelly (the former coach of Olympic gold medalist Kyle Shewfelt) have been the head coaches of Oakville Gymnastics Club's women's competitive program since 2005, increasing the number of elite gymnasts at the club from 40 to more than 90 during that time. Manjak said she strives to create a quality program for all levels while preparing elite athletes to be contenders at world championships, Commonwealth Games and the 2010 Olympics in London. "We have an amazing group of young girls who are extremely talented and dedicated to being the best they can be.
