Halton Regional Police Service said the two students were doing a photo shoot outdoors just after 5 p.m. on Monday. They were confronted by the two suspects, who pushed the male victim to the ground and stole a 35mm Nikon camera and tripod. The male and female victims chased after their assailants, who ran north towards Martindale Avenue. They caught up with one of the suspects and began to struggle with him. The culprit pulled out a knife and then fled down a catwalk. Both suspects are described as white males, 5-feet11, thin build and 24-years-old. One is described with short, spiky brown hair. He was wearing a red zipper hoodie with a black horizontal stripe on one of the arms and dark coloured jeans. The second suspect is said to have blue eyes. He was wearing a dark green army type hat, aviator sunglasses, a white hoodie with a lime green lettering on the back saying: "Ed Hardy". His clothes are described as baggy. The knife is described as a three-inch folding silver blade with a silver oval pattern handle. People are asked to call Halton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS with information. Calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous. Easter fun at the museum There will be Easter Fun at the Oakville Museum on Saturday, April 3. From 1 to 4 p.m., the museum will host a variety of activities. Take in a display of an eclectic collection of eggcups from local collector Ross Wark. Participants can make their own eggcup during the event. There will also be a demonstration of the art of Ukrainian Easter Egg decorating (Pysanky) by Catherine Bond who has been making the eggs for 27 years. With creative vision and a few tools, real eggs are transformed into original works of art, which were believed to bring health, happiness and prosperity. There will also be decorated eggs on display and an opportunity to purchase some. Easter crafts can be made by kids in the `egg' citing activity room, and there will be contests and refreshments for all. Cost to participate is $5.
