Egg hunt goes to the dogs Join the National Service Dog (NSD) team at Bronte Creek Provincial Park for the 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs on Good Friday, April 2. This year's goal is to raise $15,000 to boost programs and services for families and children with autism in the Oakville area. More than 3,000 plastic dog treat-filled eggs will be hidden. Each egg will also include a coloured sticker that represents a chance to win one of hundreds of prizes. Each registrant will receive two egg cartons and will have the opportunity to find up to 24 eggs. There is one registration per participating dog. Participants who have collected donations are eligible to collect more eggs based on an established criteria. Participants must register and be accompanied by at least one dog and will receive the official hunt bandana. Participating dogs must be kept on leash at all times and stoop and scoop rules apply. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the hunt begins at 11 a.m. Online registration and pledge collection is now available. The hunt will take place rain or shine.
