Pysanky at museum There will be Easter Fun at the Oakville Museum on Saturday, April 3. From 1 to 4 p.m., the museum will host a variety of activities. Take in a display of an eclectic collection of eggcups from local collector Ross Wark will open March 23 and continue to April 11. Participants can make their own egg cup during the event. There will also be a demonstration of the art of Ukrainian Easter Egg decorating (Pysanky) by Catherine Bond who has been making the special Easter eggs for 27 years. With creative vision and a few tools, real eggs are transformed into original works of art, which traditionally, were believed to bring health, happiness and prosperity. There will also be decorated eggs on display and an opportunity to purchase some. Easter crafts can be made by kids in the `egg' citing activity room, and there will be contests and refreshments for all. Cost to participate is $5.
