Falcioni, who won OFSAA gold last month, went 50 to win the 54-kilogram division at the national wrestling youth (17-and-under) team trials last weekend in Burnaby, B.C. Falcioni also earned bronze at the national juvenile (18-and-under) championships two days earlier in B.C., losing in the semifinals to the eventual champion. Abbey Park student Matt Sheen added a silver in the 51-kilogram weight class of the cadet (16-and-under) division. BEST IN ONTARIO: The Oakville Venom novice boys' AAA team won the provincial championships last weekend in London.
