Arbuthnot has helped to develop solar projects with the Halton Environmental Network and the City of Waterloo. · Emily Dimytosh, Halton Hills. Dimytosh is the founder of Practically Green Solutions, a company that helps small-businesses make the switch to an environmentally friendly workplace. · Kirsten Falkenburger, Oakville. Falkenburger participated in the Bronte Creek Project and helped stage the E-POWER conference. "The main project I submitted was working with a bunch of youth from around the world on the Global Youth Accord for Biodiversity that will be presented at a United Nations meeting in October," she said. Falkenburger said that after university, she plans to work at an international level. · Eszter Gereb, Burlington. Gereb is a member of the Ecosaders at Assumption Catholic Secondary School and has been at the root of every environmental initiative the club has taken on. · Andrew Wong, Burlington. Wong has participated in numerous events, education program and environmental action initiatives with the BurlingtonGreen Youth Network. The 2010 Halton Youth Awards for Environmental Excellence were given to students in environmental clubs and programs that have raised awareness of environmental issues in their community.
