He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 46 years Pat, his sons and their wives Randy and Tammy, Richard and Pamela. His three granddaughters Nicole, Paige, and Samantha will miss their Papa dearly. Survived by his mother Gertrude, brothers and their wives Jim and Lois, Allen and Alys, sister Joy and husband Al. He was predeceased by his father John in 1991. Born January 13, 1942 in Brandon, Manitoba to Gertrude and John Kenyon. Married in 1963 to Pat Watson, moved to Winnipeg in 1966 and then Oakville in 1982. Larry dedicated his working life to The Bank of Nova Scotia for 39 years, and retired as Vice President in Commercial Credit. Larry's favorite pastime was golf which he passionately played in the US and Canada. Larry had a natural talent for pool, especially in his younger years in Brandon. Retirement was thoroughly enjoyed with cruises to Alaska, Hawaii, and The Panama Canal. Stays in Florida, Palm Springs, and Arizona with friends and family were treasured and remembered. Larry's greatest achievement was his loving family for whom he was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. They will miss him dearly. Funeral service followed by reception will be held Friday, April 23, at 2:30pm at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 Ninth Line (just west of Hwy 403 and Dundas Street), Oakville, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam charitable donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Credit Valley Hospital where Larry received extraordinary care during his illness.
