People can bring their old computer equipment and have it recycled, as well as browse through green exhibits by local vendors and get involved with a community clean up. A DJ will spin music and there will be cheerleaders from the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. People who register when they arrive will receive a complimentary t-shirt and enjoy a free barbecue by M&M Meat Shops. The event is a partnership between Tim Hortons, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, Kerr Village BIA, the Home Depot Children's Workshop and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton. "It is so rewarding to see our diverse community members team up for such a worthwhile cause," said Sonny Jelinek, chair of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. "Raising awareness about electronic recycling and greener living as well as participating in a neighbourhood clean up benefits us all."
