The award, which is named for former Oakville Chamber of Commerce Chair Nelson Cusitar, recognizes an individual for his or her outstanding contribution to the Oakville business community over an extended period of time. The dinner will take place at the Oakville Conference Centre, located at 2515 Wyecroft Rd. A networking reception and silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. with the gala dinner taking place at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $125 per person and $875 for a table of eight. The Former Chief of Defence Staff General Rick Hillier will be the keynote speaker at this event. It's a major fundraiser in support of the Ian Anderson House and other local charities. Ian Anderson House, Ontario's first freestanding, in-resident cancer hospice located in Oakville, receives no funding from government. A limited number of foursomes are now available at $180 per golfer, which includes green fees, cart and dinner. Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a shot gun start at 1 p.m. Dinner and the awarding of prizes will take place from 7-9 p.m. Sponsors and prizes are needed and sponsors can choose from the following categories: · Dinner Sponsor -- $3,000, includes sponsor's name listed in tournament brochure with banner signage at the banquet and signage on individual tables. · Player Hole Sponsor -- $1,300, includes sponsor's foursome of golf and cart, banquet dinner, listing in the tournament brochure and tee box signage at a specific hole. · Hole Sponsor -- $600, includes tee box signage at one of the course holes as well as sponsor being listed in the brochure. · Event Sponsor -- $100, sponsor's name is listed in tournament brochure.
