This is a great opportunity to hear from a world-class scientist who is con- ducting cancer research right in our backyard. Dr. Goffin is inspiring, funny and passionate about his work, stated Keri Schoonderwooerd, a local Terry Fox Run volunteer who arranged for Dr. Goffin to come to Oakville, in a press release. The event will feature a breakfast at the restaurant and begins at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast cost is $12 and there is an $8 minimum donation to the Terry Fox Foundation. The event takes place a bit more than a week before the 30th anniversary Run in Oakville on Sept. 19 at Coronation Park.
