The Hornes were married for 50 years.When Mercedes, a painter and psychic, fell vic- tim to Alzheimer disease, David looked after her with unconditional love until he died in 2007. The partnership will feature a Young Romance performance on Oct. 2 at the YMCA of Oakville. Young Romance is a musical mosaic performance capturing the love and raw emotion of early love presented by the internationally recognized musi- cian Dr. Eugene Draw and Ensemble and a troupe of dancers led by Canadian choreographer Siona Jackson. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available at YMCA, 410 Rebecca St., L'Atelier Grigorian in Towne Square or at the Festival Quattro box office at 905-467-8551.
