The cere- mony signifies the completion of the annual cycle of reading the entire Torah scroll. The congrega- tion unrolls the entire scroll around the room. It is held aloft by all the congregation young and old around the synagogue. Then Rabbi Stephen Wise reads scripture from the beginning and the end. The Torah is then re-rolled to the Book of Genesis ready to begin anew. Finally the congregation dances around with the Torah and enjoys a meal together. Also pictured Gabriel Moor, 10.
