Adjournment Motion 11-28-10 Please note 1) In accordance with section 6.6 of the OSC By-Laws, only voting members and accepted guests are entitled to be present at the AGM. 2) A voting member is described in section 5.2.1 of the OSC By-Laws. Voting members must submit their intention of attending the AGM to the OSC Secretary either by email: secretary@oakvillesoccer.ca or by dropping off a sealed note at the OSC office, 1520 Pine Glen Road, Oakville, Ontario, L6M 4P4, at least 7 days before the date of the meeting deadline is Saturday November 20, 2010. You need to include your full name and identify the subclass (as defined in Section 5.2.1) by which you shall be registered as a voting member. If applicable, please identify the age group and gender your membership is associated with. 3) Questions to the President must be submitted to the Secretary at least 7 days before the date of the meeting deadline is Saturday, November 20, 2010. You may either email your questions to secretary@oakvillesoccer.ca or drop off your questions at the OSC offi ce, 1520 Pine Glen Road, Oakville, Ontario, L6M 4P4 in a sealed envelope addressed to the OSC Secretary. 4) In respect to our members time and the published agenda, no motions will be received from the fl oor during the AGM. It is our objective to conclude the meeting by noon. 5) Individuals interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors should read the OSC By-Laws, Section 2 related to Board of Directors, in particular Article 2.2, Qualifications; 2.3 Election and Appointment of Directors and Article 2.9 Nomination of Directors. Interested individuals are invited to send a letter outlining his/her interest as well as a brief resume of qualification and compliance with the requirements to the Chair of the Nominations Committee, Mr. Harold Sanin at: nominations@oakvillesoccer.ca or by sealed mail at the Club offi ce. All properly nominated individuals will have their name listed on the ballots. Nominations are also possible from the floor at the AGM but this process requires a 2/3rd majority vote as required in OSC By-Law, Article 2.9.e. Not that they were taking much solace in that, however, follow- ing a 22-9 loss to the rival Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Mondays regional final at McMaster Universitys Ron Joyce Stadium. Losing is losing. It doesnt matter if we lose by one point or 100, it feels the same, said Titans linebacker Te Nguyen. Losing in general just sucks. Unfortunately, losing to the Irish is a feeling the Titans have had to deal with four times in the past 14 months. Notre Dame beat Trinity in all three matchups between the clubs last year, including the Halton final, and got the better of the Titans again Monday. I just feel bad for all the fifth-year guys that havent been able to do it against (the Irish), Titans head coach Joe Moscato said. Notre Dame is one hell of a football team. Unlike last year (Notre Dame outscored the Titans 89-29 in the last two meetings between the clubs), Trinity had a legitimate shot at beating the three-time champion Irish this time.
