While the cost of building the school was $5,000, the team raised over $4,000 from this fundraiser alone. DAN HO / SPECIAL TO THE BEAVER Online voting for local PSA The Halton Youth Exchange program recently held a film workshop in which youths created a public service announcement regard- ing tobacco-free sports and recreation. At this time, Halton Region is holding a con- test for the best video based on votes received. The videos are posted on You Tube and can be voted on until Nov. 29. The group was split into two groups to cre- ate the videos and both links have been post- ed. Residents are urged to take the time to view the videos and vote.
