HUGHES, OAKVILLE Continued from page 6 By-law ignored Steel band in concert Saturday The Canadian Caribbean Association of Haltons steel band is hosting its end of year concert in Oakville on Saturday, Dec. 4. The concert, Passing it on: the Oral Story-Telling Tradition, is part of the associations seniors program. It will feature story teller Rhoma Spencer along with the steel band. There will also be guest performances by Montreals Salahs Steelpan Academy. The event takes place at the Operating Engineers Banquet Hall, located at 2245 Speers Rd.
