The Hans Taal, Century 21 Miller event will take place at 467 Speers Rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, Trees for Toys is focusing on teenagers ages 12 to 16 as often toy donations are for younger children who are easier to buy for. Teenagers are often for- gotten when it comes to toy and gift donations, so we decided to focus on them for our second year of the event, said Taal, the Trees for Toys organizer. This years goal is to pro- vide more than 200 teens with a gift at Christmas. All toys donated will go to the 15th annual Salvation Army Toy Mountain cam- paign and will be distributed to Oakville teens. All unclaimed trees will be donated to local families. Taal has donated 100 trees to be given away to the first 100 people to bring an unwrapped gift to the event. Guests will be able to visit with Santa Claus. There will also be face paint- ing, entertainment and refreshments. The Salvation Army and its Kettle Campaign will be on hand to assist We are so excited at all the time and effort our vol- unteers have put into this event, said Taal. For gift suggestions or more information, contact Taal at 905-845-9180, hans.taal@century21.ca or www.centu- ry21.ca/hans.taal.
