On retirement, he was the Manager of the firms Montreal retails sales office. He was a longt ime member of the Summerlea Golf Club in Vaudreui l , P.Q. and served on the Board of Directors. He moved to Oakville in 1977 and from 1978 on, he was a very act ive member of both The Federal and Provincial Liberal Associations. He was an ardent follower of the Duplicate Bridge Game and was well known within the Oakville and Burlington bridge clubs.
