Despite being members of one of the smallest clubs in the prov- ince, Dolphins Swim Club ath- letes continue to make their presence noticed at major meets. On top of Sinead Russell's Arecent performance at the FIN World Championships (where she broke three national back- stroke records and was eighth in the 100m backstroke), the Dolphins were ninth overall at the recent age group national championships in Montreal. Pter Li was the top 13-and- under male swimmer at the meet, collecting six gold and a silver, while Meryn McCann picked up two gold, two silver and a bronze in girls' 12-and-under competi- tion. Olivia Sbaraglia, 14, notched three silver medals in freestyle and qualified for next year's Olympic trials.
