Ferenc. Among many special guest instructors throughout the summer, students of Balletomane were privileged to take a free master class with special guest instructor Piotr Stanczyk, Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada on Saturday, August 27. Piotr trained at the State School of Poznan before studying at Canadas National Ballet School. He joined the National Ballet of Canada in 1998 and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2008. He has had many lead roles during his ten- ure with the company. Balletomanes new Artistic Director & President Elizabeth M. Ferenc completed a BA (Hons) with Distinction in the Art of Teaching Ballet in the Faculty of Education, at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) head- quarters in London, England through the University of Durham. During her tenure at the RAD, Elizabeth also received her Associate Status (ARAD) with Distinction, as well as the Licentiate Award (LRAD), which only a few selected individuals in the world have received. In 2005, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Roehampton, London, England, with a Masters of Arts in Ballet Studies with Distinction. Elizabeth has also taught at the presti- gious Alberta Ballet School/Dance Alberta, Central School of Ballet (London, England) and the Royal Academy of Dance Headquarters (London, England). Elizabeth is known for her artistic integrity, enthusi- asm and professionalism and is very eager and keen to be the new Artistic Director of Balletomane Inc. Registration is now being accepted for the 2011/2012 dance season.
