From your loving family KING, Richard Austin- It is with heavy hearts the family announce the peaceful passing of Richard Austin King of Belleisle Creek, which occurred on Sunday, August 21, 2011, at the Sussex Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fort Erie, Ontario, on May 21, 1942, he was the only son of the late Joan (Arbon) and Horace Glenworth King of Oakville, Ontario. Richard was a skilled welder and a member of the New Brunswick Pipe Trades Local 213 working for the Canadian Pipeline in Ontario, Irving Refi nery for 23 years and fi nally Master Mechanical where he retired in 2010. Rick enjoyed many years bait fishing, hunting from his camp on Bull Moose Hill, riding his Honda Gold Wing, yearly bike trips to Laconia with the boys, weekends in Bar Harbor with Sylvia and especially his love of target shooting and involvement with the Hampton Rifl e and Pistol Club. He is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, his beloved wife Sylvia (Weatherby) King; daughter Debbie and Jim Muir of Belleisle Creek, son Michael and Patti King of Quispamsis, daughter Brenda King of Sussex; grandsons Ryan and Kyla Muir, Collin and Stephanie Muir, Richard and Ajay Heath, and Alexander King; great grandchildren Emma, Rhea and Bria Muir and Blake O'Donnell, as well as his furry friend "Babe", and best buds Stan Frenette and Jody Waring. Arrangements are under the care of Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. By request there will not be any visitation at this time.
