From 6:30-7:30 p.m., there will be an informal meet-and- greet where citizens can speak directly with the candidates at their tables. At 7:30 p.m., a facilitated question and answer will begin. Written questions from the floor will be solicited with the facilitator ask- ing the questions. Topics from the economy to health care to the environment are expected to be discussed. Friday, Sept. 16 The Canadian Federation of University Women f Oakville (CFUW) and the Oakville Chapter o Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) will be co- hosting a public, all-candidates breakfast meeting at the Dynasi Restaurant, 399 Dundas Street W. Oakville. Registration and breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. The program will begin with opening statements by the candidates and then questions from the floor, wrapping up by 9:30 a.m. Halton candidates incum- bent Ted Chudleigh, (Conservative), Indira Naidoo- Harris (Liberal) and Nik Spohr (NDP) have confirmed their attendance. f The event is also supported by Advancement o Women Halton and the Oakville Study Group of National Council of Women of Canada. The event is open for all to attend. Since CFUW is non-profit, tickets will be sold to cover breakfast expenses. Thursday, Sept. 22 People are invited to come out to a debate featuring Oakville and Halton provincial election candidates at Oakville Town Hall on Thursday, Sept. 22. The event is being put on by several citizens advo- cacy groups: Reclaim our Democratic Canada, Canadians Advocating Political Participation Oakville and Fair Vote Canada Halton.
