Flynn said a lot of proposals the Liberals intended to back were delayed by the poor economy. This did not stop him, he said, from advocating for individuals in his com- munity and getting them what they needed through some other avenue. Sprague said the NDP slogan is Change that puts people first, which she said means the NDP will find money to maintain their promises before they waste it on unnecessary consultants, corporate giveaways, huge salaries for public sector CEOs and any of the other things, she said, the cur- rent government wastes taxpayer money on.
