l d deal l Legein to Kings for f futures f CORE status could be regained Flyers Continued from page 36 43 · Friday, October 14, 2011 OAKVILLE BEAVER · www.insideHALTON.com Town staff did say the club will be able to apply for CORE status again to take effect when the Swim Ontario-imposed disciplinary period ends. "The decision made itself," said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. "The staff report is quite thorough and the facts are stark. The Dolphins have a clear path ahead of f them for how they can cure their problem and I wish them every success with it." Stefan Legein's hockey career has taken another turn. The 22-year-old Oakville native was dealt by the Philadelphia Flyers to the Los Angeles Kings for future considerations Wednesday. The Flyers reportedly traded Legein in order to get back under the 50-contract limit National Hockey League teams are bound to. Legein, who helped Canada win gold at the World Junior Championships in 2008 and was a secondround pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, was playing with the Flyers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Adirondack Phantoms. He had been in the Flyers' organization since 2009, when Columbus traded his rights to Philadelphia. Legein is expected to report to the Kings' AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. Remember me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay. Remember me when no more day by day You tell me of our future that you planned: Only remember me; you understand It will be late to counsel then or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while And afterwards remember, do not grieve: For if the darkness and corruption leave A vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile Then that you should remember me and be sad.
