13 · Wednesday, December 21, 2011 OAKVILLE BEAVER · www.insideHALTON.com Humane society searching after cats were dumped in individual boxes The Oakville and Milton Humane Society (OMHS) is asking for the public's help in identifying who abandoned three cats at the Milton Fairgrounds last week. The grey and white cats were sealed in individual cardboard boxes and left in a secluded area on or around Wednesday, Dec. 14. A German shepherd being walked by its owner discovered the cats. The felines are un-neutered males, all one to three years of age. Humane Society officials said the cats may be siblings. "They were found in fair condition; one had scratches on its face and another had a broken tooth that had to be pulled. It's possible the cats may have fought in the home."
