International Coin Collectors in town Do you have some old coins in that drawer of yours? They may be worth something. The International Coin Collectors (ICC) global show has come to town, giving people an opportunity to have their collectable currencies appraised and possibly purchased. The show opened today at the Monte Carlo Inn and runs until Sunday, Jan. 22. The ICC is buying coins, paper currency, gold and silver on behalf of its network of collectors, dealers and refineries. "We hope to spend at least $250,000 while we are in town, purchasing people's old coin collections, vintage bank notes and scrap gold and silver," said spokesperson Mark Cooper, in a press release.
