KING, Brian William, QC July 19, 1935 to January 7, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Brian William King. Predeceased by his parents William and Olivia King and wife Mary Cecile King (nee Szmigielski, 2009). Brian passed away peacefully on Saturday January 7, 2012, with family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Elizabeth (Mark Harris) and Carol Ann (James Turner, 2011), grandchildren Ryan, Zachary and Caitlin and as a cherished uncle to Aliscia, Sonia, and Orest. A graduate with honours from Oakville Trafalgar High School in 1954 and then class president of Osgoode Hall Law School in 1960. Brian was called to the Bar in 1962, and opened his law office in Oakville that same year where he continued to practiced for 49 years until he retired this past summer. He was appointed Queen's Council in 1980 and served as a deputy judge for 39 years. He was a past chairman of Oakville United Way Appeal and past Lt Gov of Optimist International. Brian was a member of Claude M. Kent Lodge A.F. & A.M No. 681, G.R.C Oakville, Ontario, Past Master 1978/1979, District Deputy Grand Master, Hamilton District "A", 1997/98. He loved his sports. Brian played school boy rugby as a fly half in Tonbridge, England and was a winger in soccer at the University of Toronto, past President of both Glen Abbey and Trafalgar Golf Clubs. Above all he loved his cricket, several times winning batting titles, selected to the Ontario Provincial team and captained the selected team against Quebec. A memorial service will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Saturday January 21, 2012 at 11:00 am. TRULL, Christopher Clarence 1960~ 2012 C h r i s t o p h e r C l a r e n c e Tr u l l , 5 1 , beloved husband of Cathy, father of Dylan, brother-in-law of John and Joan Weise, and youngest of the Trull brothers, Jim (Sandy), Bob (Jennifer) and Roger (Janet), passed away on January 14, 2012. Cathy and Dylan want all their friends, family members and neighbours to know how much Chris was warmed by their love and support since his unexpected diagnosis of cancer in November. Chris loved golfing with his son Dylan and his older "brudders", cannon-balling off the end off the dock, and going for walks along the trail with his wife and best friend, Cathy and their dog, Lily. He carried a suitcase with his graduation suit as well as the graduation suit he purchased from his brother Ed for $25.
