Price tag of a new hospital bed starts at $10,000 or more dollar-for-dollar. The event was started by former Scotiabank president and hospital foundation board member, the late Bruce Birmingham, when he became aware of the need for new hospital beds at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
