MUNROE, Donald Ray 1923-2012 Don was called to his eternal home on Saturday, June 9, 2012 a t O a k v i l l e Tr a f a l g a r M e m o r i a l Hospital. He was just short of his 89th birthday. Beloved husband of Phyllis for 65 years, loving father of Janet & her husband, Doug Carnall and Ray & his wife Linda (nee South). Grandfather of Carrie-Lynn, Andrea, Alex and William. Great-grandfather of Gabriel, Luke, Mia and Annaliese. Don retired from the Ford Motor Company of Canada after 36 years in Service, Sales and Parts. His love of cars was contagious. He was a band member for the Oakville Seniors "Harmonichords" Band for 15 years. Don and Phyl have both been active long time members of Central Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at KO P R I VA TAY L O R C O M M U N I T Y FUNERAL HOME , 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905 844-2600) on Wednesday from 7 9 pm. A service celebrating Don's life will be held at Central Baptist Church, 340 Rebecca Street, (at Morden Road) Oakville on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1:00pm. Interment Tr a f a l g a r L a w n C e m e t e r y. I f desired, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, Oakville, or the charity of your choice.
