MOORE, Catherine Jane Ms. Catherine Jane Moore affectionately known as Jane Moore, age 52, passed away on 23rd day of June, 2012 at Ian Anderson House, a loving cancer hospice in Oakville, Ontario. She was born February 19, 1960 at Oldham, Lancashire, Great Britain, to Alan and Lorna (Berry) Moore. After a short time as a human resources assistant with British Aerospace Jane found her calling as an extraordinary Nanny in Austria, Germany and Canada, and briefly as an assistant manager at Toys R Us. Jane greeted children with a warm hug and easily filled a house with conversation, smiles and love. The children in her care remained in contact with artful and poetic birthday cards, kept with glowing reference letters as cherished keepsakes. Jane is survived by her Parents, Sister Dawn Crossley (husband Ian, nieces Hannah and Laura), Brother Timothy Moore, (Partner Janet, niece Chelsea), Sister Rachel Moore, (Partner Mick, nephew Harrison and niece Mollie). As a cherished member of the "Sole Mates" Jane loved race walking and regular Saturday coffees with the "women". Her quick wit, enjoyable conversation and devoted friendship will be held in our hearts. Jane's life will be celebrated at a gathering of friends in Oakville at the Knights of Columbus on Wallace Street, Oakville, on Saturday July 7th from 11 to 2pm and at a family memorial service at Trinity Methodist Church, Royton. Memorial donations may be made to the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where Jane served as volunteer, Ian Anderson House cancer hospice in Oakville or Cancer Research. Children under Jane's charge were Alexander, Maxmillian, Wolfgang, and Johnannes of Vienna Austria, Sarah and Robert, Larissa and Stephanie of Ottawa Ontario, Tonya, Janice and Monica of Oakville, whose remarkable achievements are in some way attributable to the security learned from Jane's love.
